Job Description for Manufacturing Innovation Supervisor

As a Manufacturing Innovation Supervisor you'll manage industrialization of Signal and Power Solution  products from award phase up to series production. Your role will be to develop the equipment and production  concept with optimized material flow, estimated cycle times, and traceability concept.

Your role:

• Development of automated processes & digitalization introducing the IIoT and new technologies in the production systems and implementation in the plants to improve the manufacturing system

• Promote internal benchmark, look across and standardization of best technologies and processes

• Support kick-off meetings and MSD workshops, create/adapt process flow

• Drive DFM and DFA to ensure having a producible design

• Enforce proper requirements management and align with interdepartmental team accordingly

• Align industrialization deliverables with ME and PE, being customer interface for technical discussion

• Attend the regular ADP  meetings and drive a proper regional and global development

• Create and maintain the MFGE project schedule with regard to the project milestones

• Prepare and organize the milestone build dates with process engineers from PML, starting with early prototype builds and organization of needed prototype equipment, including documentation

• Attend key (prototype) build events for new layouts and all customer attended events

• Plan needed equipment/technology, manage SOW and equipment procurement

• Track needed equipment and tooling, ensure availability of needed material for all equipment/tool development, install equipment/design reviews before approving start of fabrication/development

• Plan product and process/equipment training and handover to ME, starting after DD gate of ADP

• Participate in escalation meetings on program management level with prepared reports and options for resolution

• Promote development partnerships with key suppliers and universities for innovation.

Your background:

• Preferred 5 years’ experience preferably in manufacturing engineering

• Bachelor degree with technical education

• Excellent project management skills

• Strong problem solving capability

• Ability to work and live in a global network environment

• Outstanding knowledge of lean concepts

• Outstanding organization and team building skills

• Energetic, self-motivated, and proactive working style

• Business fluent English

• experience in automotive industry would be an asset
