Job Description for IT&V Engineering Group Manager

We are looking for an Engineering Group Manager. You will be working with teams which are testing on the system level our products as:

- BCM - Body Control Module

- VSG - Vehicle sound generator

- US/IS - ultra-sonic and inclination sensors

Your role:

• We are looking for an Engineering Team Manager to lead and manage a team of test engineers.

• Your mission will be to lead and enable your team with inspiration and using your expertise for technical guidance.

• To be successful in this role we believe you have a background in a SW or Test development and you have already had a role where you successfully managed a team.

• We want you to have a deep understanding of team’s work by staying close to the people and their activities, coordinating and monitoring of planning system test activities

• Together with this you will be providing input to staffing planning, which would be based on the knowledge of requirements, newly won contracts, product roadmap, as well as deep understanding of current staffing levels, skillsets, and existing retention risks.

• Being an active participant of the customer communication

• Driving the problem resolution process

• Plan and manage the budget of assigned cost center(s)

• Plan, monitor and control capabilities of teams

• Manage the engineering team in term of planning, executing, adjusting to changed situation in the project.

Your background:

• 3-5 years of management experience

• Several years of professional experience in an international company, preferably in the automotive or electronics industry

• Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in Engineering

• Fluent English

• Software or Test competency background & software development processes understanding

• ISTQB Test Manager certification will be an advantage.

• Exhibiting advanced professional interest in people management, with particular focus on employee recruitment, coaching & development

• Ability to work in complex, matrix organizations for the benefit of the team

• Previous experience with automotive is a nice to have

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
