Job Description for Electrical Simulation Engineer

Across the automotive industry, the trend toward electrification of passenger vehicles is widely evident and is already unstoppable.

We are looking for an engineer who will actively participate in this generational change by supporting innovative solutions through electrical simulations.

This position is focused on the analysis of electric vehicle systems for new Ford projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creating model of electrical circuits in cooperation with system engineers

• Conducting electrical simulations

• Creation reports from analysis and simulation with optimization and improvement proposals

• Developing and maintaining continuous contact with internal and external customers

REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering degree Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, etc.

• Knowledge of electrical circuit calculation methods

• At least basic knowledge about electrical engineering especially about the electrical vehicle systems

• At least basic knowledge of  one electric / electronic circuit simulation program e.g. PSpice, SaberRD, Matlab Simulink etc

• Ability to work in a group

• Good English skills both written and spoken (min B2)

Additional advantage would be

• Knowledge of German language

• Experience in designing of wire harness

• Knowledge of 3D CAD software, E.g. NX, Catia, Space Claim

• Knowledge any programming language
