Job Description for Engineering Team Manager Embedded - MCAL

Your role:

• Managing project deliveries through Scrum/project teams with capacity planning & competency development
• Managing project execution with upfront planning of resources, tool chains, licenses, infrastructure etc
• Prioritization between the programs within the Product Line & resolve conflicts
• Interacts with Domain architects to ensure right skill staffing, talent development, risk/issues escalations
• Support overall product line roadmap in terms of strategy based capability & capacity development planning
• Continuos focus on team efficiency, talent grooming & Retention in collaboration with HR
• Experience in handling multiple Product development Lifecycle with Automotive OEMs
• Experience in Technical management of projects/programs with geographically distributed teams
• Experience in People management of 15+ engineers
• Understanding of MCAL.
• Experience in standards such as ISO26262, Automotive SPICE.
• Good Understanding of Embedded C programming
• Knowledge on latest Continuous Integration (CI) tools (Jenkins)
• Familiar with Agile Methods (Scrum, Kanban etc)
• Understanding of communication protocol e.g. CAN/LIN/Flexray/Ethernet/J1939/UDS
• Exposure to 32 bit MCUs – Infineon Aurix, NXP 32G, Calyspo, ST Chorus etc
• Familiar with Autosar Configuration tools e.g. EB Tresos,/Vector Da vinci/Mentor VSX,VSB etc

Your background:

• Bachelor/Master of Engineering or equivalent Electronics/ Communication/ Electrical/ Instrumentation with 12-16 yrs experience
• - Engineering Manager for Connectivity & Security (C&S) product line.  This position is basically to manage people/teams for various projects of C&S including - Gateways, V2X, Mobility/Connected Platforms & Body Domain Controllers
